View a. Scalable Algorithmics (SCALGO) is a technology company specializing in software for efficient processing of massive terrain data.

SCALGO's identity uses all caps to convey their strong scientific background as well as the large scale of data they work with. I used Helvetica Neue Light and Bold faces to display the company's full name as well as from where the shorter, more commonly used name SCALGO, is derived.

The red arrow plays off the "G" letterform and points up to the right, signifying the idea of scaling upward and growth. The red color honors the company's association with Center for Massive Data Algorithms (MADALGO).

View b. This shortened version of the logo is interchangable with the original, and can be used when size and space are a factor. The Helvetica Neue Bold face scales down well while retaining legibility and the company's iconic "G" with the arrow.

View c. Keeping with the company's Scandinavian roots I designed SCALGO's business card using clean lines and clear type without extra flourishes. I used the short logo on the front of the card since the company uses SCALGO more often than their full name. The arrow points up at the employee's name, which is given emphasis through size and bold face, while red highlights the company's Website (SCALGO site project).
